One of the online features that your bank provides is to download your bank account transactions in CSV file format (read this).


When you have saved the files on your computer desktop, then you will be able to upload the files into the Sharp Edge Data system.


On your Sharp edge data Dashboard click the tab “BUSINESS DATA”, next select tab “UPLOAD”. In the drop-down box “Account Type” select “Bank” and follow next steps.


While looking at your bank account statements, we will see just a few transactions that bank does not provide enough description to understand

  • For example, the bank may provide only check number or only one word as a description “deposit”. In this case, you may upload your checkbook register by selecting “Other”. If you do not have your own you may download to your computer template attached to this article.
  • If you like, you may open the spreadsheet and add comments in the cell next to the transaction, before you upload it.
